First up is the Matcha Face Moisturizer created by Priscilla Tsai, founder of the brand Cocokind. This moisturizer is made with a combination of antioxidant-rich, organic matcha powder and green tea extract that’s specifically formulated for dry or mature skin. It’s a great pick-me-up when you need an extra dose of hydration. This unique formula blends in nicely and leaves skin feeling soft yet matte. Because of its green color, it also helps to balance the appearance of any redness or blotchiness. You can use this moisturizer on its own, or for an extra boost of hydration, I recommend layering it with a face oil.

Can y’all do a new post on clean hair products? I’m using Innersence right now and it’s ok, but I’d love to hear about some other options!
Hi! You can see some of our favorites in this post– https://abeautifulmess.com/our-favorite-home-hair-care-products/ 🙂
Definitely bookmarked some of these products for purchase when I finish what I’m currently using! I would love to learn why Honest Beauty is on a list of women of color-owned brands. Thank you in advance!
Hey Esperanza, Glad some of the products resonated with you. I included Honest Beauty because Jessica Alba, one of their founders, is Latina.
Great suggestions! Trader Joes’ (I know, right?!) has an argan oil for $6 (!!) that is amazing and something I use year round. I have been wanting to try Honest Company’s beauty balm and you convinced me. 🙂 The area around my eyes can use some extra moisture right about now. Appreciate you highlighting brands created by women of color!
Hi Jen. Good to know about the Trader Joes Argan oil! I am a huge fan of face oils so Ill have to check it out. Thanks for sharing.
